Conveyancing opportunities

An exciting opportunity has arisen to establish a new department at Howells, extending our offering of quality and award-winning legal advice for individuals.

To complement the range of services that we currently offer to individuals, we are opening a Residential Conveyancing Department and we are therefore looking for an experienced individual to set up and grow this department. We would also be interested in taking on a whole team.

The ideal candidate will have experience of running and marketing a department and will have a proven track record of increasing revenue. They will be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of this area of law, be highly motivated, hard working and driven to achieve.

Housing opportunity

We are looking to recruit a Housing Solicitor with 1 – 2 PQE. The position will be based in Sheffield although applicants must be flexible and willing to work in our Rotherham and Barnsley offices.

Applicants must have experience in all areas of housing law including, advocacy, representing clients as a duty advisor together with experience of running their own caseload with a slant towards public funding matters.

Applicants must meet the job description and person specification (below). The salary for this position is £21,000 – £25,000 depending on experience.

This is a full time position although part time applications will be considered. The closing date for this vacancy is Wednesday, 5 June 2013 at 4pm.
