Howells has once again been highly ranked as one of the top law firms in the UK in the latest edition of the Legal 500.
Maintaining the top-tier status is the Family Law team who are consistently recognised as one of the leading law firms for this area of law.
Employment has been particularly highlighted, with the Legal 500 recognising “Howells has built a well-regarded claimant practice under Pam Kenworthy, and has vast experience in disability discrimination cases.”
The crime team, one of the largest in Sheffield has secured their place as a firm that is “regularly instructed in homicide and white-collar crime cases” and Howells lawyer Daniel Simpson and his team work closely with the firm’s civil liberties group on cases involving potential miscarriages of justice.” Howells partner John Gibson is acknowledged for his expertise in youth court cases.
