Howells immigration team has been successful in a landmark judicial review in the case of G and H v Upper Tribunal and SSHD  EWHC 239 (Admin).
Howells appealed against the decision by the Upper Tribunal where an accepted victim of trafficking was refused asylum. This was the first reported case of a successful substantive claim for judicial review against a decision of the Upper Tribunal that dealt with issues of procedural fairness, country guidance and expert evidence.
On February 11th, the Administrative Court handed down judgment overturning the refusal.
