Courts bill: domestic violence cross-examination pledge

According to a fact sheet produced by the Government,  the lord chancellor will end the cross-examination of domestic violence victims and instead seek the use of other methods, for example virtual hearings in order to allow victims to take part in proceedings without having to be face-to-face with their attackers.
