Apprentice Legal Secretary

We are currently looking to recruit an apprentice legal secretary. The successful applicant will join our apprenticeship programme, where you’ll be completing an externally accredited programme, business and administration level 3, which will set you up with excellent career prospects.

You’ll receive support every step of the way, with guidance, training and mentoring to help you reach your full potential. Your line manager will set you up with goals and an individual learning plan, to help you to complete professional qualifications that you’ll need to be successful in your role.

Applicants must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to work well with people from a variety of backgrounds.

The successful applicant will be ambitious and keen to embrace new challenges and have excellent computer skills.

Matrimonial Solicitor/Cilex

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced matrimonial solicitor/Cilex to join our team based in Sheffield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our well established and successful team.

Applicants will need to have experience of running their own matrimonial caseload to include divorce and financial remedy, TOLATA, private children law and injunctions.

The caseload will be mainly private but may have some legal aid cases.

Duty Solicitor, Criminal Department

We are currently looking for a committed and professional duty solicitor to join our criminal team based in our Sheffield, Rotherham and Barnsley offices.

Our Criminal Department has Band 1 Ranking in Chambers and Partners 2022 Guide to the Legal Profession.

Newly qualified solicitors who have experience in, or are looking to train in criminal law will be considered.

The perfect candidates will be highly motivated with a keen interest in criminal law.

They will have experience of conducting their own caseloads, and a good knowledge of criminal law and procedure.  Experience of having represented clients in court or at the police station will be an advantage.

Conveyancing Assistant/Paralegal

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a conveyancing assistant/paralegal to work in our Sheffield Office.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of handling a variety of administrative tasks within a conveyancing department and ideally have experience of running a caseload with a fee earner. Previous experience of providing a service to clients, both face to face and over the telephone, will be required to support the team and effectively handle general and new client enquiries as well as client documentation.
