Howells Solicitors celebrated the opening of their new Hull branch yesterday with a special launch event, with Diana Johnson MP officially opening the office.
Howells has provided help and advice over the last 4 and a half years as part of the Hull Community Legal Advice Centre, but following the closure of the CLAC in March, Howells has now relocated to its own premises just around the corner from the original CLAC building.
The office was officially opened by Diana Johnson MP yesterday as part of a launch celebration and Howells are delighted to now be welcoming their clients to their new office in the City Centre.
Established over 30 years ago and with offices across South Yorkshire, Howells will continue to help people needing advice on Family, Employment and Immigration issues, as well as offering their services in Criminal Defence, Personal Injury and Medical Negligence from their own premises.
Eleanor Lawrance, Solicitor and Legal Director said “We are delighted to be opening our own office in Hull and having Diana Johnson officially launch our service.
“With the closure of the Community Advice Centre, we feel the time is right for us to open our own office and continue with the growth and success that we had as part of the CLAC. It’s not just about having our own front door though, it’s about continuing to provide help and advice, and having the facilities that will enable us to keep delivering a high quality, friendly service to our clients.“
The new office is now open for business on Parliament Street in the city centre. Howells Solicitors provides advice and representation on many areas of the law, from divorce and family matters to personal injury, medical negligence, civil and criminal law. They can be contacted on 01482 317 420.
