Howells prevent man with mental health problems from becoming street homeless

Howells Solicitors

06 Feb, 2018

Howells have obtained a reprieve for a homeless man with severe mental health problems who the Local Authority were refusing to rehouse. Howells threatened to take the Local Authority to the High Court by way of Judicial Review if they did not carry out a new homeless review. After initially refusing, the Local Authority have now agreed to look at our client’s case again and to provide interim accommodation in the meantime. For more information see our Housing page.
