Howells apprentice Liam Flanagan has been recognised by the National BTEC Awards for his outstanding work and progression under the apprentice scheme.

Nominated for his commitment, work ethic, for growing in confidence and for being inspired in his job role, Liam received the award for Outstanding BTEC Apprentice of the Year (16-18yrs).

Jenny Sunderland, Liam’s assessor spoke of Liam’s achievements, “Liam is very committed to his work. Not only has he got a long term career path outlined for himself, he has also found full-time employment.”

Area Manager of Interserve Learning and Employment, Morag Barrows also commented “we are very happy and proud to be part of Liam’s journey.” “I think there’s a very bright future for Liam ahead”.

Liam has impressed his tutors, assessors and colleagues at Howells. Originally deciding to proceed down an apprenticeship route in order to gain experience, skills and a qualification, Liam said “I wanted to learn and progress whilst getting the experience in a work environment. My confidence has definitely grown a lot since being here, I can now support members of Howells staff and help other apprentices as well.”

Howells Solicitors are very proud of Liam’s achievements, how much he has developed and are happy to have been a part of his progression.
