The Medical Negligence team at Howells Solicitors is being recognised by the legal profession and clients for the quality of their work and client care.

Tania now joins Michelle Gyte, who heads the department, as a Law Society Accredited Clinical Negligence Panel Member.

Further recognition comes from the lawyers’ directory, Chambers UK, which has praised Howells Clinical Negligence department by ranking the firm highly against all law firms in Yorkshire, noting Howells “strong presence in Sheffield”.

The newly released 2014 edition of Chambers UK quotes Howells Clinical Negligence team as being “sympathetic, practical and tough negotiators on behalf of clients.” Individual praise was given to Tania Harrison and Michelle Gyte, both identified for their expertise in their field.

Managing Partner of Howells, Peter Mahy commented; “Our Clinical Negligence department has grown from strength to strength over the years and I am delighted the team has been highly praised this year, both with the Law Society accreditation for Tania Harrison and the team’s ranking in Chambers UK.”

Howells has also maintained their excellent rankings in Chambers in other areas, including being classed as a top tier firm in Crime, and high rankings for several civil areas of law including immigration, police law, civil liberties and human rights.
