Howells Partner becomes Bluebell Wood Ambassador

Howells Solicitors

24 May, 2018

Howells Solicitors’ partner Sharon Lockwood has become an ambassador for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Sharon’s role with South Yorkshire’s only children’s hospice will see her spread the word about the charity to potential supporters across the region.

Howells are proud to have supported Bluebell Wood since 2016. We are members of Bluebell Wood’s 365 Business Club and around 60 of our staff, family and friends are due to take part in Bluebell Wood’s Colour Dash at Rother Valley Country Park on 14 July.

Sharon said: “I’m honoured to take on the role of ambassador, and hope that I can make a positive difference to the children and young adults that Bluebell Wood supports. I know the hospice relies on public support to provide dedicated care and support to families, so I hope I can help let even more people know about the services the hospice offers and the many ways that they can help to raise the income Bluebell Wood needs to keep its doors open.”

Helen Mower, Head of Fundraising, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, said: “We’re delighted to have Sharon on board as an ambassador and we know she will do a sterling job promoting our work with families facing really tough times. There are so many ways that potential supporters can help our families create special memories, whether they have days, months or years left together. Our ambassadors are a vital way for us to reach new supporters and help make all the difference to our children and young adults.”
