A private tenant was advised on discrimination by her landlord when evicting her which lead to an award of compensation in the County Court.
Other claims have included religion/belief discrimination in a recruitment process, a claim against an employer relating to failure to pay national minimum wage and comply with other statutory requirements, and advising a third sector employer on managing and mitigating the impact of a restructure leading to redundancies.

Clare Fowler and Tom Bernard jointly head the team, which is supported by head of civil litigation Graham Hogarth. Fowler has particular experience delivering discrimination advice, while Bernard is recommended for his 'balanced advice, thorough and clear communication' in relation to claims. The team has recently handled disability discrimination claims, in addition to unfair dismissal claims under TUPE.
