Peter has a background in housing and immigration law and more than 15 years’ experience in mental health legal work dealing with a range of cases from advice to those in receipt of community services, to detained patients and to those subject to court orders. He frequently provides representation before the Mental Health Tribunal. He has served as a Mental Health Act Commissioner and has provided legal training for psychiatrists.
Peter trained in London but is now well known in South Yorkshire, having practised in this area for many years. He and the team offer a responsive service. He is always willing to provide initial advice over the telephone and aims to give a clear assessment of the key legal issues.
