“I would like to use this opportunity to record my thanks to you for all your support and work in bringing this issue to a positive outcome. Without the involvement of yourselves, we would never have been able to understand the reason for my mother's death. In particular, the expert evidence uncovered the crucial, specific error in treatment which was then followed by exacerbating actions. I am assured by the hospital that this has led to changes in practice when caring for older post-operative patients. This is really important to us in the sense of something positive coming from my mum's and our experience. Without the expertise and persistence of Howells, we would not have been able to follow this up, either professionally or financially. Thank you so much” – December 2019
