EU Migration

Are you, a family member or your whole family looking to become UK citizens?

Our Immigration specialists can support with:

  • the evidence and paperwork needed for your application
  • complete your application form and collate all necessary documentation
  • submit your application, documentation and evidence on time and on your behalf
  • liaise with the Home Office regularly to check that your application is progressing

If you are an EU Citizen living in the UK, now is the time to act to ensure that you have the best possible chance of staying in the UK after it has left the EU.

The Brexit referendum started the process of the UK’s withdrawal from the European Union – a process that is full of uncertainty which has caused profound anxiety for EU Nationals and their families who reside in the UK.

Whilst the specifics and timeframes of Brexit haven’t been made entirely public, one thing is clear: Brexit will have a profound effect on the rights of the 3 million people who live in the UK under the freedom of movement rights that the EU allows.

To be eligible to remain in the UK once it leaves the European Union, EU Citizens and their families will likely have to prove the date that they first came to the UK and began exercising their treaty rights. This, of course, is difficult because EU Citizens do not receive a passport stamp when passing between European countries.

The good news is, however, that there are applications that can be made to prove the date on which you entered the UK or, if you are eligible, to guarantee that you and your family are able to remain in the UK beyond Brexit. These applications are complex and refusal rates will increase as ever greater numbers of applications are made.

For the best chance of success for you and your family, our Immigration specialists can advise you on your best course of action and ensure that you have a compelling case in support of your application including all the evidence, supporting statements and cover letters that a successful application requires.
