The team also offer a free 30-minute consultation on your first visit to provide all the initial information you may need to prepare for the process.
We can then support you with all areas and stages of Family Law, such as:
Before Marriage
Before getting married you can protect your assets and finances by drawing up a prenuptial agreement. This is an agreement made by a couple before they marry concerning the ownership of their assets if the marriage should fail. For more details, see our Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements page.
When You’re Living Together
If you are living with a partner and not married, you can also protect your assets and finances by creating a cohabitation agreement. This agreement outlines what each party is entitled to if the relationship should fail. We can also support you through and unmarried separation where there is no cohabitation agreement in place, and help deal with finances, assets and children matters. For more information, visit our Unmarried Couples page.
When You Are Considering Divorce
The divorce process can be highly emotional and often made more complex by differing financial circumstances, any assets owned and situations and relationship where children are involved. Our experienced team of family law solicitors have a wealth of experience handling complex cases, involving both children and finances, and offer a fixed fee divorce package. We also have a Collaborative Law department and can act for clients who are seeking an amicable resolution. For more information see our Divorce & Separation Page.
When Children Are Involved
We know that a divorce or separation can have a tremendous impact on children. If you are in the process of separating or getting divorced, and you have children, you will need to consider the arrangements for their future including whether a Child Custody agreement (now known as a Child Arrangements agreement) is appropriate or whether anything else is required to resolve the arrangements for the children. For more information see our Child Custody and Child Access page.
